Yakima River Retreat

This was the second time we rented a property from Vacation Rental 365. Our initial experience was truly amazing, and I have since recommended this company to all of my friends.
However, this time, I want to highlight my unfortunate experience over three nights in this house.
1. The hot tub wasn’t clean and warm when we have arrived at first night. Next morning we tried to turn it on but we discovered that the water was noticeably unfiltered and dirty in the daylight. So, I contacted the company's customer service, and they promptly sent their maintenance personnel, whom I truly appreciate. Despite the snowy conditions he showed up by 2 hours and replaced the entirely clogged hot tub filter with a new one and cleaned all the dirts from the water. Anyway, unfortunately, the water didn't warm up until 10:00 pm.
2. The second night we figured out that dryer also not working due to a filter error which didn’t get fixed even we cleaned the filter (Which is a maintenance job). So we ended up to dry our clothes and towels on a drying rack.
3. Dishwasher lower basket is not the original one so it’s not fit properly and wash arm get stuck and machine getting off frequently. So we had to just using upper basket and handwashing most dishes.

Overall, I believe this cabin is a very attractive and enjoyable place which need having some improvements in maintenance and controlling process. Despite this, I appreciate Vacation Rental 365 for their helpful service.

This is truly a home away from home. We love coming here every is just off the freeway but it feels like you are deep in the woods. There is enough space for all 10 of us and room for more. Our older kids love the big game
room. The property management is always easy to get ahold of, easy to work with, and quick to help resolve any issues that we have had. We will be back in 2024.

Cool place but had issues:

* Dining room chandelier lights were too dim to see anything properly, we wound up moving the table into the family room area which meant we essentially lost a room

* Kitchen cabinet drawer wouldn't close so it stuck out into the cooking area getting in the way

* Range light was out which made it hard to see while cooking (range fan was also out)

* Found a dirty diaper in the bushes presumably left by previous guests

* Piano keys had some kind of dried red substance on them (maybe blood?)

* Game room fridge had mold in it

* Game room Pop-A-Shot electronics were malfunctioning

The cabin is also very close to I90 so be prepared to hear cars and trucks outside 24/7 instead of quiet and nature sounds. (The inside of the cabin is acceptably well sound-insulated though.)

This cabin was very spacious for my family and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and they gave a new towels for the hot tub. It was like a home away from home. We were so comfortable we didn't even get a chance to explore outside much. They kids loved the game room and the master bathroom was my piece of heaven with the jacuzzi bath every morning. It was clean and management was always available and helpful when needed. Definitely recommend and will return for a longer stay next time.

Great family home. Lots of space. Highly recommend and would definitely return. Great sled hill right in the yard. Husbands fished the river. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Only a couple of negatives, but definitely not deal breakers. Lots of dog poop in the yard from neighborhood dogs that we had to clean so the kids didn’t step in it. Yuck. Also, microwave was straight out of the 80’s and didn’t work great. We tried to pop popcorn and it didn’t go great. Maybe half of the bag popped. Again, not a deal breaker, just good info to be aware of. Last was the spiders in the basement. We had to do daily sweeps to kill the spiders or else the kids refused to sleep down there, especially after one fell off of the ceiling onto one of the kids!!

Highly recommend - spacious house with lots of amenities:
large wraparound deck, fire pit, hot tub, direct river access, large flat lawn for games, VERY well equipped kitchen for serving a large group, quite/private setting. Clean, comfortable interior (though didn't use it much because we were there in the summer so outside a lot).

My family and I along with a few friends rented the Yakima River Retreat for a week long getaway and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The house is a beautiful Lindell style log home that is very well kept. The grounds are beautiful with lots of space to enjoy the serenity of the river below. The rooms are spacious, giving the 10 of us more than enough space relax in our own spaces. The kitchen is THE MOST well stocked kitchen I’ve ever found from a vacation rental, and not just in volume! The appliances, cookware and cutlery are quality. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub throughout the week, but for me, nothing beats that riverfront access. It’s incredible. Yes, there are cross river neighbors, but you hardly see them. Yes, the Interstate is close but you rarely hear it. We floated the river, dropping in to the west and floating back down to the property, which was a great experience. There are yard games and we even left our tubes for the next family to enjoy. We even had a potential issue with railroad maintenance hindering accessibility to the cabin, but Derek from VR365 contacted the powers that be to endure we had an alternate route in just in case. I have rented 4-5 homes in the Cle Elum area through the years and this is my favorite, by far. We will be back!!

Fun house with shuffle board and yard games. Riverf frontage was awesome clean and nice robes

We wanted a change of scenery in a secluded location and this home delivered, despite being an hour from Seattle. Great access to river my son "fished" in and threw rocks in. We didn't see another person, despite nearby houses, it was very quiet.

This cabin is excellent. Easy to get to, spacious, and loaded with amenities to make the stay easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. Our group went during winter as part of a snowmobiling weekend for a friend and it was everything and more. I'm kind of tempted to go back during summer as it sits on the Yakima River and has a nicely developed yard/patio. Highly recommend.

We stayed in this home last year and had to go back. Great view of the Yakima River, right off of I90. The house is always very clean, all the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked extremely well. The rental agency is easy to work with,all the way down to the small touches they do for your visit. We will be returning again!!

Such a lovely, well thought out home! The space was so inviting, everything was clean and good quality. We had 3 couples and our Golden Retriever and it never felt crowded. We could have easily invited another couple and still have had room for everyone! Nice river access, beautiful landscaping! The only drawback for us was the timer for the fireplace. We didn’t have the tv on, and didn’t figure out SONOS until the second day, so the timer was a constant background noise, ticking and ticking and ticking. But once you figure out the music and/or turn the tv on for Sunday football, you no longer notice it.

Every summer for the last 10 years or so my buddies from college and I get together somewhere in the mountains for a reunion to fish, hike, have some cocktails, eat too much, etc. This house was probably the best house we have ever rented. The house is just as pictured and felt even bigger. Very clean, very well cared for, well stocked kitchen, HUGE back area that backs right on the Yakima River. It was great to walk right out on a warm day into the river to give the trout an opportunity to laugh at my attempts to catch them. We would love to return in future years.

I reserved and paid ahead as normal for the rental of this condo on the beach for a week in July. My family and I have been going to Indian Rocks Beach for the last nine years. It was our planned vacation destination nine years ago when my husband of 34 years died suddenly of a heart attack. So, we always go in basically the same week as a memorial of him. This was the first time in this condo. The condo is wonderful; on the beach side, close to many places we like, and very comfortable and clean..except for the ants in the master bathroom and by the front door. However, no one bothered to tell us that we would indeed NOT be able to get directly on the beach...after the first day, because of the beach being refurbished. It was blocked off by orange mesh and the beach was covered with bulldozers, tractors, backhoes, pipes, buildings,... The realty company, Seaside Realty, and the condo owners were told the dates back in November of 2017. The schedule was also on the internet for anyone who knew it was happening to check and follow. We had to walk/drive a block down in either direction to get to the beach...not right out our condo which is mostly why we rented as not to have to cross a street to get to the water. It made it all very inconvenient, and there was no compensation at all from the owners. On top of that, they accused us of staining a couch and stealing a bed sheet. I sent pictures taken on my way out of the condo on the last morning proving neither were true. Needless to say, my deposit was not returned to me. As much as I enjoyed the condo, itself, I will never stay there again or rent anything from Seaside Reality.

The house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Well stocked from the kitchen, to board games, entertainment center, outdoor fun...this place has it all. The view from the deck is amazing, the yard was so huge and private, the house was extremely comfortable for our large family, and of course you can't beat being able to flyfish and wade in the river right from your backyard. Really not a thing to complain about. Great place in a great location made for a very memorable family vacation!

My family of 5 (all adults) plus 2 furry kids, needed a weekend getaway and this was perfect. Secluded yet close to town. The train is obviously close by, but we found it soothing.

This is the fifth year we have stayed at Beaside Villas in Indian Rocks Beach. We keep going back because it has everything we want. The unit sleeps six comfortably, Large living room, full kitchen and two bathrooms. The pool although small is never crowded. Cose to great restaurants and short drive to lots of shopping opportunities.

We had four days of relaxing family fun. Games, snow, good food and laughs. Very nice house, comfortable and clean. The App was very cool, check in and checkout was a breeze.

Loved the house, very accommodating. Beautiful situation. Just far enough away from the train for it to sound romantic. Within walking distance of the Iron Horse Trail. Easy access from I-5 (but consider chains in snowy weather). Hope we can get back there next year!

For 25 years my closest high school friends and I have been getting together for an annual weekend gathering. We had 11 of us this year, and the Yakima River Retreat was perfect in every way! Plenty of beds and space. Great deck and yard area with direct access to river. Very cool. We will be back!

The Yakima Retreat was a GREAT home for a family getaway! The location was AWESOME! From being right on the Yakima River.We especially enjoyed throwing football/frisbee in the yard, relaxing by the fire pit at night, and playing games in the living room.

We were excited to find this beach getaway as our home between homes. We sold our home and needed a place to stay until we closed on our new home. This was a perfect fit for us. It was very well stocked and in a great location. I would definitely recommend this unit!

This house is fantastic. Four adults spent a wonderful long weekend enjoying the house and the property. We only have four small suggestions: 1. the lighting throughout the house is much too dim. Kitchen and bedrooms need more light. instructions are inaccurate. need updating 3.wish there were more condiments like basic olive oil, ketchup,mayo and the like so we don't have to buy or bring them. 4. wish the kitchen knives were better, their dull knifes are dangerous. All minor, we will absolutely come back.

Thank you for hosting us at the Yakima River Retreat! It was scenic and relaxing. Your backyard was perfect for lawn games. The beds and showers were comfy and clean. The house was a little dark, but who wants to be inside anyway? My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer.
My advice to future guests: Don't wash your car before you come up... nice, but dusty gravel road.

The Yakima Retreat was a GREAT home for a family getaway! The location was AWESOME! From being right on the Yakima River, steps away from Iron Horse Trail, and just a quick drive from Roslyn and Suncadia, the home had something for everyone. Very relaxing to BBQ on the deck, and hang out in the yard! Our extended family of 10 had a great vacation! The kids already asked if we could go back again! Thank you very much! Only downside was the mean Bugs, but not sure you can do anything about that one! :)

Our family finally got everyone together for a full weekend. This house was such a great fit! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was big with a great view. The river view and yard was amazing. We stayed at Beachside Condo 101A for the month of March. This condo has a large living space and two big bedrooms. It is well equipped. It has a designated paarking spot with lots of space for guest parking. The pool although small was not crowded. Lots of shopping nearby and restaurants. Appreciated the free long distance calls back to Canada. Property management company was very friendly and helpful.

We are always very pleased with location and condition of this property. This was our third year at this condo and we are returning next year for another 11 week stay.

Before I begin: the VR365 team is fantastic - this is our 5 or 6th vac rental with them – truly amazing customer service.
As for the house: great layout, fabulous property. All bathrooms are remodeled and beautiful (master bath is out-of-this-world). I guess comfortable is the word, comfy beds, decent furniture, nothing too fancy (IKEA sheets, Walmart dinnerware) but just right. Helpful labels/directions throughout the house. Wonderful master bedroom with patio access. Awesome living area – large kitchen, dining room and plenty of seating options in the living space. Kids bdroom was perfect.
Few suggestions: More dining chairs would be nice (only 6). The queen bedroom downstairs could use an upgrade so it's more in line with bedrooms upstairs. Sadly, wifi wasn't great and the dvd player didn't work - I'd recommend getting a new Blu-ray player. Lastly, we had some heating issues which got taken care off immediately (thanks again!).
All-in-all, we had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend: unforgettable views from the house, the river in the back, the proximity to Seattle... it was truly a perfect getaway for our three families.

What a beautiful get away! The cabin is very Beautiful with lots of room! We were comfortable and enjoyed the grounds. Very secluded and we could listen to the river! I was not ready to leave, I will be back!

We played games, relaxed and visited. It was all there. We had a great time. We want to return.
